Special Features of Program

• A 6-day intensive leadership development experience from May 19-24, 2008
• Airfare paid, to and from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, along with lodging and meals during GLSI
• A $500 scholarship for participants who complete the GLSI program

• Working with top leaders to coach student development
• Implementing a strengths-based development plan supported by Gallup coaching
• Engaging in a comprehensive leadership development initiative including personal feedback on areas that can be leveraged for development
• Intense immersion into graduate and research programs to orient students to possibilities for attending graduate school with scholarship considerations. Small group meetings with top scientists and business leaders will be integrated throughout the program
• Students receive guidance in developing practical plans for applying to graduate school by trained admission counselors
